How to Fold One-Size Cloth Diapers for a Newborn

When I first started cloth diapering our newborn, I had a stock of one size diapers and NO idea how to make them small enough to fit on our little guy’s bum.

We use Pocket Diapers with snaps, and since they’re ‘one size’ (meant to fit anywhere from 8 lbs to 35 lbs), they look pretty daunting next to a newborn.

Here’s how you do it:

  1. Thanks for this! We bought some prefolds/covers for our newborn, but also a have a small stash of one size pockets that I bought the week we decided to try cloth. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to use them for months! Did this fold cause a lot of extra bulk?
