Salmon Patty Burger Recipe

Salmon Patty Burger

This is a simple, fast, and yes, delicious AND healthy recipe, if you’re into salmon that is.

What you’ll need:
1 can–14.75 oz.–pink salmon (make sure to pick out any bones if you don’t get boneless!)
1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
3 tbsp. mayonnaise or salad dressing
2 eggs, beaten
1 tbsp. fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 tbsp. fresh chopped parsley
1/4 tbsp. sea salt
1 clove of garlic, minced (or a bit of garlic powder if you don’t have minced)

1-2 tbsp. of olive oil for skillet
Hamburger buns if you want to make burgers!

Directions:
1. Drain and flake can of pink salmon in a medium bowl (pick out bones if necessary), throw in all the ingredients minus olive oil and buns. Blend well.

2. Shape into 8 patties.

3. In a large skillet, heat 1 to 2 tbsp. of olive oil and cook over medium heat until both sides are brown.

4. Pull out some hamburger buns, if you want, add whatever toppings, serve and enjoy!

    1. Not sure how it took me so long to see the comments on this post, but such is life! I think they’re great without the bun too! My husband’s a burger guy, so I’ve discovered it makes it more appealing than just a plain patty.
